This past Christmas my family was in Nebraska
visiting my wife's family. While there my daughter
spent a significant amount of time playing the
New Super Mario Brothers on her cousins
Nintendo DS. While we were driving home she
mentioned this to me. I advised her that when we
got back to Ohio I would show her how to play
the old school Super Mario games.
The day after our long journey home I dug out
the Nintendo Entertainment System for us to
play some Super Mario Brothers. With that
system not in very good condition I dug even
deeper into my stash of old electronics and was
able to find a Super Nintendo and the Super
Mario All Stars cartridge which contains all of the
Super Mario Brothers games. We have had a lot
of fun over the past several weeks playing these
games from my childhood and early teen years.
