Mark's Talks
Blurred, Absurd, and Obscured: Worldviews in the 21st
Century
What is a Worldview? This workshop will inform you about different ways of
viewing the world and how you can place them in three different categories to
help you to better understand how those you know who do not know Jesus view
the world.
Why I Don't Believe in Atheists
Can someone truly be an atheist? This talk takes a look at atheism from a
Biblical and logical perspective. In addition, students come away equipped with a
way of challenging
those they know who claim to be atheists to examine the claims of Christianity.
The End is Near?: Different Perspectives on the End Times
Orthodox Christianity has several differing views of the end times. In this
workshop Mark shares different views of the end and then challenges students
with a way to live in light of these varied views.
What is Biblical Christianity and Why Does it Make Sense?
This workshop gives students an introductory view of apologetics and what
Biblical Christianity is. Students will come away from this workshop with answers
to some of the most common objections to Christianity.
Out of This World: Aliens and Evolution
People seem to be obsessed with aliens. Millions of dollars are spent each year
attempting to find them. In this workshop we look at the motivation behind those
feeding the hysteria and challenge students to think critically about the probability
of aliens.
Lost Books of the Bible?: What the Media Isn't Telling Us
How can you tell when a Christian holiday is coming? Is it discounts on fish
sandwiches or stores preparing for Christmas? Perhaps, but you can also tell by
the magazine articles and cable news programs talking about lost books of the
Bible. This workshop evaluates the claims of those who present these Gnostic
"gospels" as an alternative to traditional Christian beliefs.
